A Taste of Primary
A key role of early learning centres is to help prepare children for their transition to primary school, and at Active Explorers Central City, school visits are an integral part of this process.
In addition to their regular visits to St Albans School, Active Explorers Central City have now forged a link with nearby St Mary's School.
"We are working hard to expand our community relationships and further strengthen our transition to school programme," says centre manager Leslyn Graham.
As part of the new relationship, children from the centre paid a visit to St Mary's School last month, relishing the opportunity to be "big kids" for a day.
