Big Heart Day
Valentine’s Day has long been celebrated all over the globe – but this year on February 14 Active Explorers Richmond took our annual day of hearts to a whole new level.
Big Heart Day was an action-packed event designed to get little hearts pumping while supporting a worthy cause. Children and teachers all came to school dressed in red, immersing themselves in an exciting line-up of physical activities including sack races, tennis, golf, dancing and balancing. The special day also included a gold coin donation to support New Zealand’s much-loved heart charity, the Heart Foundation.
